A World To Come - 31st July to 1st October
The village church is open daily from 10am to 6pm, to display this Art+Christianity community art project by local artist Bettina Furnée. The medieval Wheel of the Seven Acts of Corporal Mercy (one of Kingston's medieval wall paintings) is 'turned again' for a contemporary audience.

The Art+Christianity community art project opens in the Village Church at 6.30pm. The artist Bettina Furnée will give a talk at 7.15pm and refreshments will be served.
Kingston is part of a pilot project linking contemporary art and artists to historical art in churches (our medieval wall paintings).

A World To Come: Discussion - Saturday 17th August

Bettina Furnée (artist) and Laura Purseglove (curator) will discuss the development of the work "A World To Come" - Bettina's enquiry into the iconography and symbolism of the church's medieval wall paintings and her thoughts on the relationship between art and morality.

Even You Song - Sunday 13th October

A new choral work, performed by Director of Music Owain Park with Cambridge Chorale and organist Joseph Wicks and children from Bourn Primary against a backdrop of digital projections. This special evensong will be led by The Reverend Nigel Pearson. Supported by Wysing Arts Centre.

The new national lockdown means that the Service of Remembrance planned for 10.55 am on Sunday 8th November at Kingston Church has been cancelled. There will, however, be a brief outdoor ceremony and wreath laying at the war memorial at 9.15am. Government advice is that households gather on their doorsteps to observe the 2 minutes’ silence at 11am.

Ermine Street Band Concert - Saturday 18th May
In All Saints & St Andrew's Church Kingston at 7.30pm. This band of ten local musicians will present a varied and lively programme of chamber music for wind instruments. Tickets cost £10 (to include refreshments; free for under-16s). The band are performing free, and all proceeds go to the church.
