Quiz'n'Chips - Saturday 27th January

Our popular annual event in aid of village hall funds. 7 for 7.30pm in the village hall, kindly hosted by our returning quizmasters Helen and Mark Underwood. Team tables of six with food options of sausage/veggie burger/fish/chicken and chips Ticket prices £8/£9/£12/£12 respectively. The pub bar will be open.

(Following the Harvest Festival service in the parish church, but open to everyone whether or not you are able to attend the church service)

Blues, Pizza and Baked Potatoes - Saturday 23rd September

A fun village supper and music evening in the village hall, with Kingston Blues Band playing a selection of classic and modern blues. Free Entry

Supper from 6pm, music at 8pm. Bar with a fine selection of Real Ales, Wine and Soft Drinks.

 

Village Hall Management Committee AGM - Monday 4th September

In the village hall from 8pm. Everyone welcome to discuss events and the ongoing refurbishment project.

Church tower open from 2pm (over 12's only)

Bring your teddy and make his parachute in the church from 2pm; Teddy bear parachuting from 5.15pm

Everything is free. Please enjoy yourself, and donate generously to the church.

Village Barbecue (incorporating the monthly Village Pub Night) Saturday 1st July

At Southsea House (by our kind hosts James and Janet Clear)

Entry from 5.30pm, food from 6pm, bar closes at 10.30pm. Ticket includes a selsction of barbecued meats (vegetarian option available), homemade bread, slads and puddings. Licensed bar serving wine, cocktails, real ale, lager and soft drinks.

Gesualdo Six Concert - Thursday 30th March

Buffet supper with wine in the village hall from 6.30pm, concert by this outstanding vocal sextet in the Church at 8pm. Music focussing on early renaissance composers, but with a few modern works too. Proceeds to Kingston Parish Church.

Ride, Stride or Drive - Saturday 10th September

This annual event is organised by the Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust. Participants are sponsored for every place of worship they visit by cycle, horse, bus, car or on foot during the Day. Half of the money raised by Kingston goes to the Trust, half to the Kingston Church Restoration Fund.

Kingston Wood Manor Open Gardens - Sunday 12th June

Open from 2pm to 5pm. Four acres of mature gardens surround the beautiful moated C15 manor house. Teas served.

All proceeds for the Church of All Saints and St Andrew, Kingston.

International Evening - Saturday 14th May

A supper party in the Village Hall, dishes with an international theme. Traditionally the food is superb, and this year was no exception! All who attended had a wonderful evening, in great company.
