Quiz'n'Chips - Saturday 26th January

Entry from 7pm to claim your table and organise your drinks; quizzing starts at 7.30pm. Tickets include entry, and food during the interval (fish & chips £12, chicken & chips £11, sausage or veggie burger & chips £10). Pub bar open for wine and beer..

A chance to do your christmas shopping in Kingston, meet and mingle!

Preserves, baked goods, plants, christmas gifts, chocolate tombola, raffle. NEW THIS YEAR: artisan craftwork from the village. Tea, coffee, mulled wine, mince pies.

Remembrance Day Service - Sunday 11th November

At the War Memorial on the West end of the Church at 10.50am, followed by a service inside the church.

An Evening of Remembrance - Saturday 10th November

In Kingston Church at 8.30pm

An evening or readings, music and meditation in remembrance of all who have died or suffered as a consequence of war. (Although held in the church, this is not planned as a religious service.)

Around the village from 10am to 12noon

Jobs include:

- trim back trees to allow access for grass cutting

- remove willow tunnel at playground

- add play bark at the playground

- treat seats at the playground with preservative

- clear brambles at the village hall car park

- cut long grass in goals at playground


Church Viewing - Sunday 14th October

All Saints and Andrews Church - an opportunity to view the harvest decorations and enjoy a few moments of quiet reflection.

Harvest Supper - Saturday 13th October

In the Village Hall at 7pm, food served from 7.30pm (following the 6pm Harvest Festival service in the church). Hot supper with a complimentary beverage, apple pudding, pay bar and entertainment.

Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust Ride Drive or Stride 2018 - Saturday 8th September

Parish churches and most of the Cambridge college chapels were open for sponsored touring. Kingston church - refreshments were available.Sponsorship raised is shared between the local church and Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust. See for details and sponsorship forms.

Village Hall Phase 2 Grand Opening (incorporating Village Night) - Saturday 2nd June

A celebration of the completion of renovation works to the large hall with a glass or two of fizz. 'Easy-made' pizzas available, pay bar and social evening.

Buffet supper with wine in the village hall from 6.30pm, concert by this outstanding vocal sextet in the Church at 8pm. Music focussing on early renaissance composers, but with a few modern works too. Proceeds to Kingston Parish Church.
